12 Illegal Buildings in Rawa Terate Controlled

He explained the demolishment involved 100 joint personnel of PPSU, SDA Sub-agency, Bina Marga Sub-agency, Parks and City Forest Sub-agency, Environment Sub-agency, and Satpol PP.

"We then conducted a data collection and found out that there were seven residents of the illegal building who were not Jakarta residents or did not have Jakarta ID cards," he explained.

According to him, the former occupants would be returned to their hometowns through the related agency. "We do this persuasively and humanistically," he uttered.

He added the site was planned to be transformed into a fence in order to prevent the same case.

"Soon or later, we will beautify the place with murals and flowers for a nice view," he said.
